Freelance Content / Slideshow Creator

Hive Media is looking for freelance slideshow and content creators! We need contract work from experienced writers with an eye for images and headlines that will go viral!

To apply you MUST provide *examples* of slideshow & listicle work for other websites. Include links in your cover letter. Also, please note this is a contracted role and we will be expecting a weekly commitment of 3 + assigned articles completed within set deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to posted assignments
• Source your own news-worthy images (no stock photos)
• Follow keyword guidelines when writing and naming images
• String together 40 images, plus headlines and captions, for a cohesive and engaging experience for readers
• Upload all images and copy to CMS, follow formatting guidelines, double check HTML, and submit for review-
• cover racy, provocative, and risque; content and more-
• writing 3-5 40 page slideshows per week

Each slideshow is 40 pages long, 50 words per page, and has 1 high quality images per page. Total of 2000 words and 40 images for each piece.

Requirements:

• 2 years of freelance writing or web content creation
• Experience writing trending, provocative, and click worthy content
• Confident at learning new systems – Basic HTML knowledge
• Can find and crop high quality, newsworthy images
• Has published content via CMS, not just submitted to an editor for publication
